You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link; for anything more — republishing, translation, commercial use — please ask via Contact. Sources for data and quotations are cited within each piece and its appendix.
Your comments
You own what you post, but by posting you give us permission to display it on the site. Keep it civil and lawful — no harassment, spam, or infringing material. We may remove comments or accounts that break these terms, and comments are moderated.

The site and its data essays are provided “as is,” for general interest. The interactive figures include clearly-labelled estimates and dated snapshots, and nothing here is financial, legal, or professional advice.
